ok hello everybody back from my camp on monday and was too lazt to blog well until now...
ok the camp was on the average wasnt too tough as it rained loads which we have to be thankfull for hahaha...well anyway camp started on friday and ended on monday and well the programmes are.....
FRIfall in, in sch then they told us we'll be going on a hike...so we broke into our patrols(groups) and we set off...for my patrol our 1st check point was at dover followed by the biopolis at buona vista then we train-ed to tampinies and then hiked all the way to some loyang avenue which is bloddy far and then hiked all the way to changi beach which was further away!!!then once we reached changi beach arnd the evening and we tot all was over they dropped the bomb saying we had to ferry to pulau ubin!!!!::: so we did so and hiked all the way up ubin to this place called nordin beach...was uber compact!!! we then had to cook our own dinner so it was lyk out door cookin in the beach lol then i was sort of the fire starter for my patrol cause no one else could do it rite hahaha and dinner was sick cause there were flies all arnd our food but oh well....then after dinner we tot can go slp but they dropped another bomb....instructor:so how did u all find the hike this afternoon....us: (wit no choice) very good!.....instructor:so do u wan more....us: no!!!...instructor:ok no more day hike....we shall move on to nite hike!!! us: gg..
so well we had to nite hike arnd pulau ubin in pairs!! hahaha without torches so it was dark indeed but oh well hahaha then after all the hiking we had a debrief and then it was lights off(there were no lights actually) well we slpet in this thing called a basha its sort of a grondsheet laid on the grnd then another groundsheet elevated above u wit sticks makin a shape of a tent but the thing is this tent has loads of opening and there are no 'walls'...i shared the basha wit hoeson and we slpt and next morning my left upper side of my palm had a swell lyk no other....it was swollen lyk crap and so was my elbow and my back so yea i was attacked by insects which im allergic to i guess....lol it was pretty serious but oh well....
saturdaywoke up then we hiked back to the jetty ferried back to singapore and had breakfast in changi village whoo lol...then we had the best part!!! bus trip!!!!! we headed back to school though...lol then once in sch we bathed and had one hour rest time so we slpt!! then after tat...due to the rain we were spammed by lectures so there were lyk loads and loads of learning....then had dinner foloed by short campfire preparation then foloed by debrief then foloed by supper and then slp!!!
sundayafter a good nite slp we were awoken wit a bang lol hahaha had breakfast and then foloed by morning inspection!!! dreaded part 1..
we had to pack unpack lay out everytin until the instructor happy and its more reasons to pump us hahaha so yea we were screwed early in the morning....then we had more lectures as the weather sucked and and and then we had skill games and telematches....for the skill games i tink my patrol did quite well...there was this step step number thingy,,,quiz thingy,,,,blindfold maze thingy,,,pass jus with water using leg thingy,,,,balance thingy etc;....was very fun but hard to explain one by one... and then after tat we had telematches!!!!my patrol owned tat one....out of 4 diff games,,,one of them my patrol got last the other 3 we all got 1st hahaha so we owned!!! and then after the telematches it was time....CAMPFIRE!! haha but it was kinda dry but my subcamp skit owned!! the ntss scouts came up wit us and it rocked!!!
after campfire it was supper,,,lunch and dinner were in between skill games to campfire,,,,
then after supper slp!! but slp wasnt as nice it was dreaded we had a total of 4 fire drill!!!! tat was imba and a fire drill is lyk mus wake up then run down to basket ball court report str and make sure all there...if not its down pumping and we had to do it under 5 min so it was tiring and the whole nite slp gone cause its lyk they out of point anyhow choose timing one in the middle of the nite lol....so yea basically our slp was a nitemare but oh well..lol
mondayok so this was the last day of the camp bowels were intensely movin arnd xD well we had morning inspection again but was less shiong....then we pack unpack lay out again and then and then erm hmmm we had pt!!! intense physical training!!! and then breakfast followed by mass area cleaning!!!so we cleaned and cleaned and cleaned and then we had closing ceremony.....and and and and and we had the givin of certificates and then the moment we were all been waiting for prize givin there were 2 prizes one was the best patrol the other was the best trainee award so there were a total of 6 schools,,,ntss,,clementi town,,,bukit merah,,,NUS high,,,ACS I,,,River vally....and so the results were anounced shaun's patrol won the best patrol while the best trainee went to......ME!!! whooo whooo okok sorry!!! so out of 97 scouts i prevailed top xD!!hahaha and now i have a bad sore throat and bad bites all over my hand but oh well it was all for the better hahaha....and after tat we had debrief and we went home sweet home where i had 18 hours of slp!!! 4pm to 11pm,,11pm to 12am-dinner and slack,,,12 am to next day 11am!!! whooo spam slp!!!
and so yea tats it guys...lol cya arnd!!!
